David Sanabria, age 39, of Plainville, was killed around 6:20 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 27, in Southington.

According to Lt. Keith Egan of the Southington Police, said officers responded to 279 Queen St., for a report of a collision between a motorcycle and a car.

An investigation has revealed that Sanabria was driving a 2016 Guzzi Moto motorcycle northbound on Queen Street. At the same time, Robert Keating, age 60, of Southington, was driving a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado, southbound on Queen Street. Both vehicles collided in the northbound lane of Queen Street, Egan said.

Sanabria appeared to have suffered serious physical injuries. He was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation, where he ultimately was pronounced dead, police said.

Keating did not appear to suffer any injuries.

The collision is still being investigated by the Southington Police Department Accident Investigation Team.
